Job Description
To provide timely and appropriate surgical services to patients within Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital with Vascular Surgical conditions who require clinical review or treatment by the Department of Vascular Surgery.
About the Candidate
MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience; previous general surgery experience, FRACS part 2 desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical workplace.
Demonstrated clinical competency; demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
Demonstrated capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Demonstrated experience and interest in research and teaching junior medical staff.
Participation in the Department - unit after hours roster.
