About the Role
We'relooking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to help build,maintain, and optimise our cloud-native AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) platforms.
Working closely with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams,you'lldrive automation, reliability, and continuous improvement, enabling developers to deliver software securely and efficiently while helping to evolve a resilient, scalable, and high-performing platform.
Key Responsibilitiesinclude:
Manage Kubernetes lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, scaling, and platform reliability.
Build andmaintainInfrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation best practices.
Deploy and manage applications using Helm and CI/CD tooling.
Implement and support Kubernetes autoscaling solutions, includingKarpenter.
Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents.
Lead or contribute to platform upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.
Build reusable platform capabilities and automation that improve developer experience, deployment consistency, security, and operational reliability.
Maintain operational documentation, standards, and best practices.
Design and implement self-service platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deploy andoperateapplications safely and efficiently.
About you!
To be successful in this role,you will have:
Strong hands-on AWS experience,including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, and Autoscaling.
Proven experienceoperatingand maintaining production Kubernetes environments.
Strong experience building andmaintainingCI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
Experience implementing Kubernetes autoscaling usingKarpenter, HPA, or similar technologies.
Strong Linux administration and cloud-native troubleshooting skills.
Experience with DevOps andDevSecOpspractices, including observability, secrets management, and automation.
Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana orOpenTelemetry
Experience working with large-scale or multi-cluster Kubernetes environments will be highly regarded.
