We are currently seekingexperienced Counterbalance Forklift Driversfor a well-established general freight forwarding company based inRocklea.
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Loading and unloading general freight
Loading and unloading curtain-sided trailers and trucks
Working safely within a fast-paced transport setting
Following load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
This is aMonday to Friday positionwith overtime opportunities available.
What We're Looking For
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
Current LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience in the road transport and freight industry
Experience loading and unloading trailers and curtain-sided vehicles
Experience using RF scanning systems (desirable)
Understanding of load restraint practices
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance and legislation
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
High attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
