The Village Retirement Group is looking for a full-timeLifestyle Village Managerbased inYeronga, QLD.
Reporting to theVillage Manager,
you'll play an integral leadership role helping create an exceptional retirement living experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of one of Brisbane's premier retirement communities.
Working alongside the experienced Village Manager at Yeronga, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable insights, put them into practice and continue growing your leadership career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the Village Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operation of the village
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, contractors and key stakeholders
Coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure the village is maintained to the highest standards of safety, presentation and operational excellence
Help deliver the smooth day-to-day operation of the village
Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a welcoming, vibrant and connected community
Coordinate engaging resident experiences through community events, wellbeing initiatives and meaningful social programs
Contribute ideas that enhance the resident experience and support the continued success of the village
Contribute to a collaborative, supportive and resident-focused team culture
About You
To qualify, you'll bring previousleadership experience within retirement living, property management, hospitality, aged care, facilities managementor another customer-focused workplace where building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service are key.
This opportunity would suit an experiencedVillage Managerlooking for a fresh challenge within a larger organisation, or an ambitiousAssistant Village Managerready to take the next step in their leadership career.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Experience coordinating contractors and external service providers
Strong understanding of operational administration and industry compliance
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Well-developed organisational and problem-solving abilities
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
Current National Police Check
