The Opportunity:
An exciting temporary opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer (AO3) to join a supportive and busy team located in the city.
This position plays a key role in providing high-quality, confidential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily operations within a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will bring professionalism, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to a role that truly makes a difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of administrative tasks including data entry, document management, diary coordination and general office support.
Respond to internal and external enquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette, empathy, and resilience when dealing with diverse and sometimes challenging clients.
Manage motor vehicle and fleet bookings, allocations, and related documentation.
Support financial processing including the preparation of Expense Vouchers in SAP for payment of invoices and staff reimbursements.
Issue and manage Food Vouchers (both physical and electronic).
Provide finance and administrative support including filing, quality assurance of data,



and maintaining accurate records.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment through adaptability, empathy, and a commitment to quality service.
Your Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a government or community service setting (desirable but not essential).
Demonstrated resilience, empathy, and the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Robust administrative and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Experience with financial processes, invoice management or SAP systems (advantageous).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner.
High level of discretion and confidentiality required.
Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general office systems.
Mandatory: Current Blue Card and Driver's Licence.
Willing and able to undertake a national police check.
The Offer:
Temporary AO3 position | $***** per hour + superannuation.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (7.15-hour workday with a 45-minute lunch break).
