About the Role
Permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team located in our Grafton Depot.
Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service, maintain and repair the company's fleet of light vehicles.
Duties
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
On-time servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles (4WD & 2WD)
Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
Working with apprentices and other workshop employees
Assist in managing daily workflow to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
Administrative tasks relevant to the position
Other appropriate duties as required
Skills and Experience
You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done.




The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
Minimum 3 years post-trade working in a similar role
Must have Forklift License
Must have White Card
Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions
Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
Is focused on providing the best service to our internal and external customers
Can work overtime, including weekends when needed as well as after-hours call-outs
Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
