Senior or Unrestricted Building Surveyor
This is a senior position suited to an experienced Building Surveyor who can take ownership of projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to business growth.
You'll be responsible for assessing documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation (Building Act, NCC/BCA, Access Standards), and delivering high-quality advice across a diverse project portfolio.
Mixture of certification and consultancy work
Key Responsibilities
Assess project documentation for compliance with the NCC/BCA and relevant legislation
Issue building permits and provide compliance advice to clients
Manage projects end-to-end, including site inspections and stakeholder communication
Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations
Liaise with councils, authorities, and consultants
Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team
Contribute to business development and client relationship management

About You
Accredited Building Surveyor (Unrestricted or working at Senior level)
Minimum 4+ years' experience in building surveying
Strong technical knowledge of the NCC/BCA and relevant legislation
Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
Commercially aware with an interest in business development
