Prestige Inhome Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Attendants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients across Sydney's Northern Suburbs, including Neutral Bay, Mosman, Cremorne, Hunters Hill, Chatswood, Lindfield, Dee Why and surrounding areas.
About the Role
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will support clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
Supporting clients with showering, bathing, dressing and grooming
Toileting and continence management
Providing catheter and stoma bag care for male and female clients
Supporting clients living with dementia, including using appropriate strategies to respond to resistance to care
Assisting with oral hygiene routines
Medication prompting
Supporting clients with eating and drinking
Assisting with mobility aids and equipment tailored to individual client needs
Providing companionship, emotional support and encouragement
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working as a Personal Care Attendant in aged care, disability support, or home and community care
Confidence providing personal care, including catheter and stoma care
Experience supporting clients living with dementia and knowledge of strategies to promote positive care outcomes
A qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, Nursing, or a related field
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client appointments
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Flexibility and availability to work short-hour services across multiple locations
