The Opportunity:
Full-Time |Fixed-Term contract of employment until 29 December ****.
$150,000 – $160,000 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.
Holmesglen Institute is seeking an experienced Senior Education Lead to drive innovation and deliver key education initiatives within the Home and Community Care Centre of Excellence.
The Home and Community Care Centre of Excellence is a Holmesglen-led national initiative established under the National Skills Agreement by the Australian and Victorian Governments to strengthen workforce capability, accelerate innovation and support contemporary models of home and community care.
Working with industry, government, research and education partners, the Centre will develop innovative workforce solutions, contemporary learning experiences and applied research outcomes to support the growing care sector.
Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies, the Senior Education Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Centre's Education Workstream.




The role will lead the design, development and implementation of innovative education products and services including new qualifications, micro-credentials, short courses, educator professional learning programs, immersive learning experiences and consumer education resources that support workforce capability uplift across the home and community care sector.
As the Senior Education Lead, you will:
Lead the Education Workstream for Holmesglen's Home and Community Care Centre of Excellence, delivering innovative workforce, educator and consumer capability initiatives that support the future of home and community care.
Drive the design, development and evaluation of contemporary education products, including new qualifications, micro-credentials, short courses, educator professional learning and immersive learning experiences.
Lead and coordinate Education Workstream projects, resources and partnerships to ensure successful delivery of Centre objectives, outcomes and funding commitments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry, government, education and research stakeholders to support collaboration, co-design, innovation and sector impact.
Represent the Centre as a thought leader, championing evidence-informed, inclusive and technology-enabled approaches to education and workforce development for the home and community care sector
To be successful, you'll have:
Extensive experience in senior educational leadership roles within health, aged care, disability, community services or related sectors.




Demonstrated experience designing and implementing innovative education, training or workforce capability initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build partnerships across industry, government and education sectors.
Experience leading complex projects and delivering outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, nursing, aged care, disability, community services or a related discipline, together with a postgraduate qualification in adult education or a related field.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
