Our client, a leading fintech organisation based in North Sydney, is looking for an experiencedOffice Managerto take ownership of their workplace operations and create an exceptional office experience for employees, visitors and stakeholders.
This is far more than a traditional administration role.
You'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day running of a modern corporate office, ensuring everything operates seamlessly while leading the front-of-house function and managing one direct report.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the North Sydney office while supporting a second office in Newcastle.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords and contractors to ensure the workplace remains safe, organised and operating at a high standard.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems and keeping multiple priorities moving.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the Receptionist to deliver an exceptional front-of-house experience.
Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy corporate office.
Coordinate maintenance, repairs and preventative works with landlords and contractors.
Oversee workplace facilities, meeting rooms, shared spaces and office amenities.
Manage office suppliers and service providers to ensure high service standards.
Coordinate workplace health & safety, security and operational compliance.
Respond to workplace issues quickly and proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
Identify opportunities to improve workplace processes and the overall employee experience.
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
Previous experience as an Office Manager, Workplace Coordinator or Facilities Coordinator within a commercial office environment.
Experience managing relationships with landlords, contractors and external suppliers.
Previous leadership experience, ideally managing a receptionist or administrative team member.
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to work autonomously.
Robust administration skills and excellent attention to detail.
Professional communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
Experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
This role is primarily office-based, with an expectation of working from the North Sydney office at least four days per week.
