Site Manager – Renewable Energy Operations
Acclaimed Workforce is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the operations and maintenance function at a large-scale renewable energy facility located in regional Victoria.
This is a unique chance for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of a complex, safety-critical asset and lead a skilled site-based team responsible for safe, reliable and efficient plant performance.
The successful candidate will provide strong technical leadership, drive operational excellence, develop a high-performing team culture and continuously improve site systems, processes and reliability.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations & Maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for:
Leading and developing a site-based operations and maintenance team
Managing daily site operations, maintenance activities and operational performance
Driving plant availability, reliability and performance outcomes
Establishing and improving maintenance systems, procedures and processes
Managing CMMS, maintenance records, reporting and asset information
Overseeing stores, spare parts, inventory management and procurement processes
Supporting fault finding, troubleshooting and reliability improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and operational requirements
Coordinating contractors, visitors and site activities




Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter, Boilermaker or similar)
Minimum 10 years' experience within operations, maintenance, utilities, industrial, manufacturing or power generation environments
Proven experience leading site-based teams within complex operational environments
Strong technical capability across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and asset reliability practices
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
Demonstrated safety leadership and risk management experience
Ability to coach, mentor and develop operational teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly Regarded
Experience within:
Renewable energy or power generation
Utilities, mining or heavy industry
Large-scale manufacturing environments
24/7 or semi-scheduled operational environments
Commissioning or first-of-type projects
High-voltage environments
