Working within our busy on-island Vehicle Workshop, you'll support the safe, compliant and efficient maintenance of our extensive fleet – including buses, trucks, earthmoving plant, cranes and generating systems.

Where you'll make an impact
Maintaining, servicing and repairing a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery to ensure ongoing operational readiness
Diagnosing faults and proactively preventing breakdowns to reduce downtimeSupporting compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the fleet
Collaborating with a dedicated mechanical team that takes pride in high-quality, safety-first work
What we're looking for
You're a reliable and experienced mechanic with excellent fault-finding ability, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
You take pride in your work and are looking for a stable, long-term role in a location that offers more than just a paycheck.
To be successful, you'll need
An Australian recognised trade qualification and minimum 4 years' post-trade experience
Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles including buses, trucks, cranes, earthmoving plant and generating equipment
HR driver's licence and current manual driver's licence (Essential)
Ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Forklift licence (Desirable)
