Job Description

We are seeking a talentedSenior Rehabilitation Consultantwith a professional background inExercise Physiology or Physiotherapyinterested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector inWollongong NSW.
Being a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will:
Assist clients in their rehabilitation, employment or education journey under various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
Dependent on professional background, conduct Initial Assessments, Functional Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Earning Capacity Assessments and Transferrable Skills Assessments;
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
Assisting those with an injury or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Qualifications
We're looking for a motivated and compassionate professional who brings:
Tertiary qualifications inPhysiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); or
Accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
Acurrent NSW Driver's Licenceand access to acomprehensively insured vehicle
