An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experiencedProperty Lawyer with 5+ years' PAEto join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based inGordon on Sydney's North Shore.This opportunity will suit an experienced Property Lawyer looking forgreater autonomy, direct client relationships and a broad property practicewithout the need to commute into the CBD.
With a long-standing presence in the market, the firm advises individuals, investors and businesses across a broad range of property, commercial and private client matters.
The practice combines high-quality legal work with a practical, client-focused approach and offers experienced lawyers the opportunity to manage their own matters, develop strong client relationships and enjoy genuine autonomy within a supportive team.
The Opportunity
You will take responsibility for a diverse property practice, working directly with clients and managing matters from initial instructions through to completion.
Your work will include:
Acting onresidential and commercial property transactions
Managingsales and purchasesfrom contract through to settlement
Drafting, reviewing and negotiatingcontracts for sale
Advising on and preparingcommercial and retail leases
Handling matters involvingeasements and other property interests
Conducting due diligence and advising clients on property-related risks
Providing practical advice on NSW property law, land titles and regulatory requirements
Liaising directly with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders
Negotiating contractual and transactional issues to achieve commercially sensible outcomes
Assisting withproperty disputes and related litigationwhere required




Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's complementary practice areas

About You
You will be an experienced Australian-admitted solicitor withat least 5 years' post-admission experience, including a strong background in property law and conveyancing.
You will also bring:
Strong experience across residential and commercial property transactions
Demonstrated expertise drafting and negotiating property contracts and leases
Sound knowledge ofNSW property legislation, land title systems and regulatory requirements
The ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Excellent drafting and attention to detail
Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
The ability to explain complex property issues in clear, practical terms
Confidence working with legal practice management systems and technology
Sound commercial judgment and a solutions-focused approach
A collaborative working style and commitment to delivering a high standard of client service
