About the role
Midland Tractors is the Tasmanian Dealer for John Deere Agricultural Products, Silvan Spraying & Farming Equipment and Segway Power Sports.
We service a diverse range of customers with quality, well renowned equipment and after sales support and service.
We are seeking the services of a self-motivated Sales Professional to join our team servicing theNorth West Coast of Tasmania.
Key responsibilities will include:
Actively pursuing recent business opportunities whilst maintaining the current customer base
Maintaining a current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
Maintaining all customer information for sales management
Following a defined sales process




Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
Attending applicable sales training events / seminars
Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate for trading purposes
Previous sales experience, ideally in the agricultural equipment industry (desirable)
Knowledge of agricultural equipment
Ability to seek sales opportunities
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM and Sales software
Motor vehicle licence is essential
