Our client is seeking an experienced Equine Reproduction Veterinarian to join a busy equine hospital and ambulatory team for the 2026 breeding season, with seasonal or permanent options available. This role is ideal for a confident reproductive clinician who enjoys stud medicine, broodmare management, neonatal care, and the varied pace of equine general practice.

The position offers a solid mix of on-farm reproductive work, hospital-based case management, ambulatory care, and emergency support. You will work with large broodmare farms, manage reproductive cycles, assist with foal care, and contribute to a well-established equine service supported by experienced clinicians, surgical expertise, and a fully equipped referral facility.

Qualifications Needed

/n

/n
Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent degree recognised in Victoria

/n
Strong experience managing reproductive mares across live cover, fresh AI, and frozen AI

/n
Confidence providing neonatal care,



high-risk foal support, and routine foal health checks

/n
Ability to manage routine and emergency ambulatory cases independently

/n
Excellent client relationship skills with a reliable and dedicated work ethic
