Salary: $79,423 per annum plus 12 % superannuation Position Overview Peter & Eva is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our Italian restaurant team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Italian dishes, maintaining high kitchen standards, and contributing to a fast-paced, high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
Assist in menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients




Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food supplies
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Skills and Requirements
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Cook
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of food safety standards
Qualifications (Preferred)
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Food Safety Certificate
