A leading independent corporate advisory firm is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior execution role across high-profile M&A; and strategic advisory mandates, working closely with senior bankers, infrastructure investors, corporates and financial sponsors.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of transactions, including financial analysis, transaction documentation, due diligence and coordination of junior team members.
The position also offers meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to business development and transaction origination.
Key responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A; transactions
Manage financial modelling, valuation analysis and transaction materials
Coordinate due diligence processes and engagement with clients, counterparties and external advisers
Prepare presentations, information memoranda and strategic advice for clients
Manage multiple transaction workstreams and ensure key deadlines are met
Develop relationships with infrastructure investors, corporates and financial sponsors
Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates
Support senior bankers with business development,
pitches and transaction origination
Candidate profile
Approximately 5–8 years' experience across investment banking, corporate finance or infrastructure advisory
Solid infrastructure sector experience, potentially spanning transport, utilities, energy transition, digital infrastructure or social infrastructure
Demonstrated end-to-end M&A; transaction experience
Advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage junior team members and multiple transaction workstreams
A strong commercial mindset and confidence engaging with senior clients
An established network within the infrastructure market would be advantageous
The position is ideally based in Sydney, although strong Melbourne-based candidates will also be considered.
