Jack Abell Betta Home is seeking aRetail Sales Assistantto join our team in Mildura, Victoria.
This is afull-time positionbased at our retail location, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our store, helping customers find the products they need whilst creating a welcoming shopping experience that reflects our commitment to excellence in home and consumer products.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in locating products throughout the store
Providing knowledgeable product information and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Full Training of product knowledge provided
Processing customer transactions at the point of sale using our retail systems accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, well-organised and visually appealing store environment
Restocking shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are presented attractively and stock levels are maintained
Handling customer inquiries and resolving any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays as directed by management
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations and meet sales targets
What we're looking for
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service




Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced retail environment
Neat appearance and professional demeanour at all times
Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work weekends as required
A positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer experiences
Basic product knowledge or an eagerness to develop expertise in home and consumer products
