The Trustee for SK Pilates Coburg Unit Trust – Coburg VIC
The primary purpose of this role is to convey a positive and customer-centric approach, emphasising the importance of creating a happy and fulfilling experience for your customers while focusing on sales and retail objectives of the business.
The objective of every single shift should be to make our customers feel good today.
In doing so, our customers will be more likely to attend regularly and purchase our products and services regularly.
Screening Criteria & Role Suitability
Have strong sales experience and a background in membership based service businesses.
Genuine interest in Pilates, recovery, or the wider wellness industry.
Minimum availability of 3–4 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
Comfortable using software systems including member management, CRM, bookings, POS, Mindbody, Google and Zipleads.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build genuine member relationships.
A team-first mindset with willingness to contribute to shared studio goals and outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Convert prospects to class & recovery memberships while they are in the studio by following Wildsoul's sales presentation process.
Participate in sales & retail training as required and scheduled by the Sales & Retail Manager training.
Report all new sales and required follow up to the Sales & Retail Manager.
Awareness of the studios monthly sales & retail targets and where the studio is at at any given point in the month.
Membership Retention
Welcome recent members into the studio, explain membership and show how to use the app.
Become acquainted with their goals and accomplishments.
Deliver ongoing member nurturing.
This may include, but is not limited to; automated birthday messages, regular newsletters,



identifying and communicating with high risk members, sending daily shift "Member Encouragement" SMS to members who have attended and completed a great class.
Promote customers to purchase additional retail products and services within our business.
A willingness to maintain excellence in customer service.
Keep the shopfront area clean & free of clutter.
Ensure all retail products are facing the customer and presented ready for potential sale.
Upbeat and affable approach to interaction with existing or potential customers, in studio or via Zipleads.
Studio Operations & Reception
Maintain the Studio as per the cleaning schedule.
Cleaning "On the Mat" & "Pilates" studios (clear full bins, left behind items from staff, wipe surfaces, stock toilet paper, paper towel, soap sanitizer wipes in the studio).
Replace towels and tidy infrared sauna room after each use.
Replace towels and tidy hot & cold immersion room after each use.
Replace towels and tidy compression room after each use.
Report any member concerns or site maintenance issues to the Programming Manager.
Setting up/ packing down the Studio garden.
Setting up tea in the evening so that the morning
Checking messages, voicemails, diary for notes to action
Arrive for your shift early and never late.
Turning on and off heaters in studios when needed.
Complete any delegated tasks from management.
This includes, but is not limited to, creating teas, helping create posters for events, laminating posters, assisting in tea setup on dates, moving mats in studio spaces for cleaning.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are adhered to.
Complete all tasks stipulated on the Retail Sales Assistant Task List.
Leave the studio after the last attendee has vacated the space and follow the closing procedure.
