Your role
The role supports the Manager Cyber Threat Intelligence and Engagement with the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Threat Intelligence function and assists with the coordination of cyber security activities across the Communities and Justice Portfolio.
What You'll Do
As part of the Cyber Risk Audit and Compliance team within Information and Digital Services division, your role is primarily focused on supporting the Department of Communities and Justice's cyber threat intelligence capability by assisting with the administration and maintenance of the Threat Intelligence Platform, analysing and coordinating threat-related information, and helping to prioritise security activities based on emerging risks.
The position also triages and co-ordinates cyber security enquiries and compliance with NSW Cyber Security Policy requirements while maintaining collaboration platform content and providing secretarial support for key cyber security governance forums.
The team operates in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, portfolio agencies, and external partners to share intelligence, manage cyber risks, and enhance cyber security maturity.

The ideal candidate has a passion for cyber threat intelligence and cyber security, with the ability to adapt to an evolving threat landscape and emerging technologies.
