About the School:
Our school is located directly opposite the Logan City Council offices and the Logan Entertainment Centre.
These are both significant landmarks within Logan City.
The school is also located between Woodridge State Primary School and Woodridge State Secondary School.




Together we make a corridor of educational excellence in the local community.Our school is easily accessed via train (adjacent to Woodridge Station) and also by bus.
The school opened**** as the Woodridge Opportunity School.
It's name later changed to Woodridge Special School and in **** was renamed as Logan City Special School in order to recognise that the students came from the whole of Logan City, not only the Woodridge area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
