Your work will provide the financial insights and discipline that help the business make confident, informed decisions.

About us
Oji Foodservice Packaging Solutions (part of a wider group of companies) supplies foodservice packaging to customers across Australia.
We're part of a growing group that's accelerating and commercialising, with plans to expand internationally, and it's an exciting time to join.
We're a lean team,

What You'll Do
As the CFO's trusted finance partner, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping the business financially strong while helping shape better commercial decisions.
Own the financial foundation:Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and ensure timely, accurate reconciliations across bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and balance sheet accounts.
Keep the business compliant:Prepare accurate working papers and financial data to support the CFO with BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations, ensuring compliance is seamless and deadlines are consistently met.
Manage payroll with precision:Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time, including leave management, award interpretation where required, payroll reconciliations, and preparation of superannuation reconciliations and payments, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and internal controls.
Drive financial performance:Partner with the CFO and operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control, delivering meaningful insights that support profitability and informed decision-making.
Support month-end reporting:Help deliver an efficient month-end close, prepare management reporting, and provide financial analysis that adds value beyond the numbers.
Improve systems and processes:Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen financial controls,

and improve the way the finance function supports the wider business.
Build strong relationships:Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external partners, communicating confidently and building trusted relationships across the business.
Manage credit and cash flow:Oversee the credit management function by monitoring customer accounts, reviewing credit limits, following up outstanding debtors, and partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to minimise overdue accounts and support healthy cash flow.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a Company Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or similar ERP systems, with robust Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive, self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with operational teams.
High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
Highly Regarded
Strong knowledge of Australian tax and statutory reporting requirements, including BAS, PAYG, and payroll tax.
Experience in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
Experience with Cin7 Inventory Management.
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across multiple projects, business units, or cost centres.
