At Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we're looking for a commercially sharp, people-focusedArea Managerto lead a portfolio of13 stores across our Concession, Mountfords and MidasVIC and TAS locations.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll influence performance at scale, shape team capability, and deliver a consistent, standout customer experience across your region.
You will partner closely with your Store Managers to drive results, elevate standards, and build high-performing teams.
You'll be hands‐on, visible in stores, and deeply connected to your people and your results.
The role
Lead, coach and develop Store Managers to deliver strong commercial outcomes
Drive sales, profitability and KPI performance across 13 locations
Ensure exceptional customer experiences across both in‐store and omnichannel journeys
Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance
Maintain high standards across operations, compliance, safety and visual presentation
Build capability and succession across your region, strengthening your leadership pipeline
Partner with Retail Leadership to align on strategy, priorities and execution
What you bring
Proven experience leading multiple sites in a retail environment - 3+ years




Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and drive results
A passion for people leadership, coaching and team development
High energy, resilience and the ability to influence across a large portfolio
Operational excellence with a sharp eye for detail and standards
