Salary - $72,000 to $78,000 per year commensurate with skills, experience and responsibilities.
Duties
Performing minor repairs and maintenance to the shops, displays, shelving, racking and warehouse infrastructure.
Helping with installation of shelves, displays and signage.
Weeding and pruning garden beds and mowing around the work premises.
Spraying weeds and whipper snipping.
Window and door cleaning.
Assisting with cleaning of walls, bathrooms and staff rooms.
Removing rubbish and being responsible for bin/waste management.
Assisting the warehouse with stock control.
Operating a forklift.
Blowing away leaves and dust with the leaf blower.
Using power tools and maintaining them.
Using an industrial floor cleaner.
Window and door cleaning.
General upkeep of facilities and tidying of outdoor spaces.
Painting and decorating.




Ensuring WHS procedures are followed.
Support the team with general manual labour duties as required.
Essential
At least one year of full-time work experience as a Handyperson.
Secondary education or higher.
Forklift / High Risk Ticket.
Drivers licence.
Knowledge of power tools and their maintenance.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety.
Basic level of English language.
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Desired
Trade skills.
Other information
Kununurra is a remote area with an extreme climate.
The employer may conduct random drug and alcohol testing.
