RESINC Solar & Batteries is growing, and we are looking for a driven Commercial Solar Business Development Manager to join our national team and play a key role in expanding our commercial solar division.
This is not a traditional account management role.
We are looking for a true new business hunter - someone who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, creating opportunities from scratch, and converting new clients into long-term customers.
If you are a proven BDM who knows how to find business, open doors, build a pipeline and close deals, we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Based in the Newcastle region, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new Commercial Solar opportunities across the market.
You will have the support of an experienced internal team while having the autonomy to build your own pipeline and drive growth.
This role offers:
$100,000 base salary
Uncapped commission structure with OTE of $200,000+
Company vehicle
Phone and laptop provided

Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking and targeted outreach
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract completion
Qualify opportunities, understand client requirements and present tailored commercial solar solutions
Drive the full sales process, from lead generation through to closing




Develop relationships with commercial clients, business owners and key decision-makers
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reporting
Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
About You
You are a results-driven sales professional who enjoys the challenge of winning new business.
You will have:
5+ years of proven experience in a Business Development, Sales or a New Business role
A robust track record of generating your own opportunities through outbound prospecting and cold calling
Demonstrated success converting leads into revenue
The confidence and resilience to engage decision-makers and open new markets
Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills
Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
Experience within commercial solar, renewable energy, construction, technology or another B2B sales environment will be highly regarded.
