Job Type:Casual (2 days per week to start, scaling up as we grow)
Roster:Sundays + 1 Weekday (Must be flexible with shift lengths)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Level 2 Prep Kitchen Hand to join our small team.
This is a hands-on role focused on creating the magic behind our flavours.
You will go beyond basic cleaning to actively assist in making our daily batches.
Shift Windows & Flexibility
Start Times:Vary between6:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Finish Times:Vary between2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Flexibility:You must be willing and available to stay longer if production demands require it on the day.
Key Responsibilities
Filling Prep:Prepare, mix, and portion our signature doughnut fillings and toppings.
Doughnut Cooking:Assist with proofing, frying and rolling doughnuts to golden perfection under direction.
Station Setup:Ensure ingredients are measured, organized, and stocked for production.
Kitchen Cleanliness:Maintain a clean workspace, sanitise equipment,



and handle dishwashing as needed.
Food Safety:Strictly follow protected food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety protocols
Skills and Experience
Kitchen Experience:6-12 months in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or cafe prep role is preferred.
Schedule Flexibility:Ability to adapt to varying start/finish times and reliable transport for 6:00 AM starts.
Attentiveness:Great attention to detail when following recipes, measuring ingredients, and monitoring cook times.
Physical Stamina:Comfortable standing for long periods and managing active kitchen tasks.
Growth Mindset:Enthusiastic about learning the art of doughnut making as our business expands.
