Seeking Disability Support Workers in Bowral
We are seeking acompassionate, reliable Support Workerto provide high-quality, person-centred care for a female participant living withDisability.
This role is based in a welcoming family home and offers a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, including active sleepovers.
About the Role
You will be supporting a participant who resides with his family in afamily home.
The participant has chosen to remain living in her own home and requires.
Service Days & Hours
Weekdays
Day shifts
Evening shifts
Saturday
Sunday
Assisting withpersonal careand daily living tasks
Providingself-assistancesupport
Manual handlingand mobility assistance
Supportingcommunity access and social participation
Delivering consistent and respectful care with amental health–informed approach
Working collaboratively with family members within the home
Previous experience supporting clients withBrain Injuryor similar complex needs (highly regarded)
Mental health experience
Ability to performmanual handlingsafely
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
Female applicants only(genuine occupational requirement)
Certificate in Aged Care or Disability is highly preferred
