The Role
We are seeking a capable and highly organisedAccounts Payable & Payroll Officerto join our Finance team.
This is ahands-on, AP-focused positionworking across multiple hospitality entities with a high volume of invoices.
You will manage several shared inboxes, liaise frequently with suppliers, chase documentation, resolve discrepancies, and provide clear communication about payment timeframes.
In addition to accounts payable, you will process weekly payroll through FoundU and support broader finance activities as required.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate, process-driven work and is genuinely comfortable operating in a hands-on finance environment.
Please note, this role is an in-office Brisbane role.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (core focus)
Manage the full end-to-end AP cycle across multiple entities
Action and prioritise high-volume AP inboxes
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through timely communication
Chase receipts,



resolve invoice discrepancies, and clarify payment details
Process invoices efficiently through Lightyear and Xero
Payroll & General Finance
Process weekly payroll in FoundU
Assist with month-end reconciliations and journals
Maintain accurate Fixed Asset Registers
Support BAS/IAS preparation and other statutory requirements
Provide weekly labour and performance data to operational leaders
Assist with ad hoc reporting relevant to hospitality (stock, food, beverage, venue data)
About You
Strong experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume environment
Confidence communicating clearly with suppliers by phone and email
Excellent organisation and inbox management skills
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Familiarity with Xero (essential), Lightyear (preferred), or FoundU (preferred)
Hospitality or multi-entity experience (advantageous)
A practical, consistent, process-driven approach to finance work
