We are currently seeking a highly capable Senior Consultant to support a critical engagement within the banking and financial services sector.
The Opportunity #YourRole
We're looking for a polished Senior Consultant to coordinate the technical readiness and delivery of a large-scale data migration supporting a major banking transformation and modern payments platform implementation.
Business readiness activities are already being managed, allowing this role to focus on ensuring the technology, data and delivery streams are aligned, planned and ready for successful execution.
Working across client teams, vendors and stakeholders, you will coordinate migration planning, dependency management, testing, cutover readiness and delivery governance to support a successful migration outcome.




This is an initial 6-month contract engagement with potential for extension and future opportunities across Tranzformd's transformation portfolio.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a consultant who thrives in complex environments, enjoys coordinating multiple delivery streams, and can confidently engage both technical and business stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration & Delivery
Coordinate technical readiness activities across the migration program
Manage migration plans, dependencies, risks, issues and delivery milestones
Coordinate testing, data validation, reconciliation and cutover activities
Facilitate go/no-go assessments and post-migration support
Track progress and provide reporting to program leadership
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate across business, technology, data and vendor teams
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and governance forums
Translate technical risks and issues into clear business impacts
Build alignment and maintain momentum across delivery streams
Transformation Consulting
As part of Tranzformd's broader consulting capability, you may also:
Support technology transformation and rationalisation initiatives
Analyse complex data and develop recommendations
Prepare high-quality presentations and project deliverables
Contribute to future-state process design and operating model improvements
Support project planning, governance and reporting activities
What We're Looking For
3+ years' consulting, technology transformation,



PMO or project delivery experience
Experience coordinating technology implementation, migration or transformation initiatives
Robust delivery management and stakeholder engagement skills
Sound understanding of software development lifecycles and enterprise technology environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication capabilities
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
Highly Desirable
Banking, Financial Services or Payments experience
Experience supporting data migration or platform implementation programs
Exposure to core banking, digital banking or platform modernisation initiatives
Understanding of cloud-based technology environments
Previous consulting experience within a Big 4 or boutique consulting environment
