Business Analyst - Cyber Insurance Product
A leading global insurer is seeking an experiencedBusiness Analystto play a pivotal role in the delivery of a brand-new cyber insurance product being launched into the Australian market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile global transformation program, partnering with Australian and US-based teams to deliver an innovative product from discovery through to implementation.
The Role:
As the Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for defining how a global cyber insurance platform is tailored for the Australian market.
Working across business, product and technology teams, you'll gather and document requirements, map business processes, identify local market gaps, and support the successful implementation of a new insurance product.
This project is being delivered using aWaterfallmethodology, making it ideal for a Business Analyst with solid end-to-end project delivery experience and a structured approach to requirements gathering.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Facilitate workshops and engage with key business and technology stakeholders.
Analyse and map current and future-state business processes.
Identify gaps between the global platform and Australian market requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with a US-based product team to localise the platform for the Australian market.
Support the project through discovery, design, build, testing and implementation.
Contribute to the successful launch of a new cyber insurance product.
Experience required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle and product delivery.
Demonstrated experience delivering projects from discovery through to implementation.
Exceptional requirements elicitation and business process mapping skills.
Experience gathering both business and technical requirements.
Previous experience working withinWaterfalldelivery environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with global teams, including occasional early morning meetings (approximately 7–8am) with US stakeholders.
