The Role
We are seeking a trade-qualifiedHeavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanicto join our team.
This role offers excellent variety, working on a diverse fleet of heavy transport trucks and trailers.
You will handle everything from routine servicing and diagnostic troubleshooting to major engine overhauls.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Maintenance:Perform logbook servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on heavy trucks and trailers.
Diagnostics:Troubleshoot and rectify complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
Component Overhauls:Assist with or lead major component rebuilds (engines, gearboxes, differentials).
Compliance:Complete clear workshop job cards and ensure all repairs meet safety and roadworthiness standards.
Teamwork:Work collaboratively alongside our workshop manager, apprentices,



and office team.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:Trade Certificate (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
Experience:Proven experience (2 years) working on heavy diesel trucks (e.g., Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, Isuzu) and trailers.
Licence:A valid Australian Driver's Licence (HR or HC licence is a massive advantage).
Tools:Your own comprehensive set of hand tools.
Attitude:A solid work ethic, a focus on safety, and a great sense of humour to match our team culture.
