The organisation is undergoing exciting change and is looking for a seasoned payroll leader to support this.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and leading a team of 6 direct reports, 10 indirect, your role will involve but not be limited to the following:
Managing payroll compliance, processing, and reporting
Overseeing deductions,
salary packaging, and government reporting
Leading audits, reconciliations, and WorkCover payments
Driving continuous improvement and system optimisation
Partnering with internal stakeholders across Finance, People & Culture, and ICT
Mentoring and developing payroll team members

Candidate Profile
Significant payroll experience in a complex, multi-entity environment
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with Preceda (Dayforce a bonus)
Knowledge of relevant Awards, EBAs, and legislation
High attention to detail and analytical capability
A collaborative and strategic mindset
