A permanent full time position commencing 28 January ****. The successful applicant will be required to teach subjects within the HSIE faculty, up to and including Stage 6.
The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in HSIE.
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.




Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider College community.
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
Ability to teach Stage 6 HSIE subjects.
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Well-developed oral and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate qualifications for teachingnominated Key Learning Area (s).
Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
