We're a fast-growing Property Services Company specialising in the maintenance of commercial and residential properties, along with various small-scale projects.
Due to a significant increase in plastering and painting work, we're now looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyman / Plasterer / Painter to join our team.
About the Role
Ultimate Work Solutions is seeking a highly skilledPlasterer / Painter & Maintenance Carpenterto join our growing team.
This hands-on role involves delivering high-quality plastering, painting and general building maintenance across commercial and residential properties throughout Melbourne.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works independently, solves problems on-site, and delivers exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Plastering, patching and painting to a high standard.
Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
Carpentry repairs, including doors, frames, locks, handles and hardware.
Install, repair and adjust fire and smoke doors to maintain compliance.
Repair and adjust bin chute doors and bin store doors.
Install and repair door closers, seals and signage.
Essential Safety Measures (ESM) rectification works.
Identify and resolve general building maintenance issues.
Communicate professionally with clients,



Building Managers and site supervisors.
Participate in quoted maintenance and building projects as required.
Perform other duties reasonably within your skills, qualifications and experience.
Follow all Ultimate Work Solutions OH&S; policies and site-specific safety requirements.

Demonstrated experience in plastering and painting across residential and commercial properties.
Strong maintenance carpentry skills and the ability to complete a wide variety of building repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Qualified presentation and strong communication skills.

Requirements
Current White Card.
Relevant experience in plastering, painting and general building maintenance.
Strong understanding of WH&S; requirements and safe work practices.
Current Australian work rights.
Intermediate computer skills.
Current Australian driver's licence.
Own tools and reliable vehicle.
