Gema Group The IT Coordinator / Customer Support Officer provides essential day-to-day technical support to staff across multiple venues and events, ensuring the smooth operation, reliability and availability of IT systems and infrastructure.
The role provides hands-on first and second-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, POS and communication systems, while supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration.
The position also provides on-site IT support for events and large-scale venue operations, manages IT assets and documentation, assists with system maintenance and deployments, and works closely with internal stakeholders and external IT vendors to maintain efficient technology operations.

Task & responsibilities
Coordinate and provide ICT customer support across multiple venues and stadium locations.
Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, operating systems and network issues.
Troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, POS systems, communication equipment and other ICT devices.
Support wired and wireless network connectivity, including Wi-Fi and peripheral devices.
Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts and access permissions.
Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration.
Assist with system updates,



backups and health checks.
Maintain IT asset registers, technical documentation and support records.
Provide on-site IT support for events, functions and large-scale venue operations.
Coordinate the deployment, configuration and availability of ICT equipment across venues.
Manage and train casual staff in the effective use of ICT systems.
Liaise with the IT Systems Administrator, management and external IT vendors.
Assist with larger IT deployments and improving operational efficiency.
Comply with IT policies, security protocols, data protection requirements and the organisation's IMS.
Qualification & experience
Degree or diploma in IT or a related field preferred.
Relevant technical certifications highly desirable.
Proven IT support experience, preferably in multi-site, hospitality or event-based environments.
Experience contributing to or assisting with IT project rollouts.
Strong knowledge of: Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Common business applications, TCP/IP and Wi-Fi, Hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune administration, POS and hospitality technology.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work safely and independently in dynamic, quick-paced environments, including kitchens and stadiums.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
