Diesel Tech Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing, family-owned business based in Rutherford, NSW.
This role involves working across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and plant & equipment, both in our workshop and on-site.
You'll play a key role in keeping our customers' machinery and fleets operating efficiently and reliably.
About the Role
Diesel Tech Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing, family-owned business based in Rutherford, NSW.
This role involves working across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and plant & equipment, both in our workshop and on-site.
You'll play a key role in keeping our customers' machinery and fleets operating efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on:
Heavy vehicles (trucks & fleet)
Light vehicles (utes & cars)
Plant & equipment (earthmoving machinery)
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Carry out scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs
Complete major repairs including:
Engine work and overhauls
Brake systems
Transmission and driveline repairs




Maintain accurate job cards and service records
Adhere to WHS and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Provide professional service when liaising with clients
Skills & Experience
Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience across trucks, light vehicles, and plant equipment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
