About the Role
As a Solar Roofer, you will play a key role in the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems.
Working alongside our electricians and installation teams, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Install solar mounting systems and solar panels on residential and commercial properties.
Work confidently on tile, tin and Colorbond roofs.
Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications.
Carry out roof penetrations and flashing to a high standard.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS requirements.
Inspect sites and identify any potential installation issues.
Work efficiently with electricians and fellow installers to complete projects on schedule.
Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles.




Represent Solar Prime professionally when interacting with customers.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Minimum2 years' experienceas a Solar Roofer.
Proven experience installing solar systems on tile, tin and Colorbond roofs.
Current White Card.
Current Working at Heights certificate.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Strong understanding of safe work practices.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
Experience with battery installations.
EWP Licence.
Scissor Lift Licence.
First Aid Certificate.
CEC accreditation or working towards accreditation.
