The Role:
As Geely Auto Australia enters a critical growth phase, building a robust, scalable, and commercially driven vehicle accessories function is essential to supporting dealer success, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring business continuity.
This role takes full ownership of accessory performance, including commercial outcomes, customer experience, and dealer profitability.
The National Accessories Manager will lead the development of a high-performing, data-driven, and customer-centric operation, ensuring strong service delivery, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
Core Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle:Lead the development, sourcing and lifecycle management of the GAA's accessory and merchandise product portfolio
Market Analysis:Monitor Australian automotive trends to ensure the accessory portfolio aligns with consumer demand and brand positioning
Attachment Rates:Drive accessory attachment rates across vehicle sales by integrating accessories into the full customer journey (pre-sale, point-of-sale, and aftersales).
Dealer Profitability:Design promotional programs, bundling strategies, and dealer incentive structures to maximise accessory fitment ratios
Marketing:Oversee the development and roll out of marketing collateral and sales resources to support Accessory sales
Supply Chain & Operations
Inventory Management:Lead forecasting, procurement and pricing strategies to optimize stock levels and fill rates while minimizing obsolete stock
Supplier Relations:Negotiate with accessory suppliers and logistics providers to ensure supply continuity and meeting of service level agreements
Process, Systems & Governance
Develop, implement, and maintain accessory processes, procedures and reporting frameworks
Build scalable operating models, systems integration and governance structures to support long-term business growth
Coordinate with HQ and stakeholders to improve system integration and operational efficiency
Quality, Warranty & Risk Management
Oversee warranty returns, root-cause analysis for defective parts and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Establish robust quality monitoring, recall support and risk mitigation processes aligned with regulatory and brand standards
Ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and internal quality requirements
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Supervise and develop accessory team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
Act as the escalation point for complex dealer and customer issues
Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Aftersales, Finance, Marketing, HQ) to deliver integrated business outcomes
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accessory Per New Vehicle Registered:The percentage of new vehicle sales that include fitted accessories
Accessory Gross Margin:Overall revenue and profitability generated through the national dealer network
Inventory Fill Rate & Stock Turn:Measures of supply chain efficiency and product availability
Dealer Satisfaction:Feedback from dealerships regarding support, training, and program effectiveness
Ideal Candidate Profile
Skills/Experience:
High-level commercial and financial acumen, strong supply chain demand planning, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers
Technical understanding of product development guidelines and constraints including a reasonable level of technical aptitude
5-7 years' experience in an aftersales leadership role within an automotive OEM, importer or distributor environment
Demonstrated experience across both operations and accessories/commercial programs, with a solid understanding of accessory business drivers and customer behaviour
Solid understanding of wholesale and retail accessory operations, pricing strategies and dealer support frameworks
Proven ability to manage end-to-end accessory lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, pricing and performance optimisation
Experience managing 3PL partners, including SLA monitoring, performance feedback and escalation handling
Proficiency in ERP and DMS systems, with strong analytical capability to interpret data and drive business improvements
Experience driving dealer performance through structured programs, incentives and commercial frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external partners
Experience in building or scaling accessory operations in a new market or high-growth environment is highly desirable
Familiarity with Australian Consumer Law and warranty-related parts processes
Bachelor's degree or above
