Qualifications & experience
Any years' experience in the Landscaping/gardening industry is a bonus
Experience operating range of commercial gardening equipment (eg Ride on Mowers, push mowers, whipper snippers, edgers etc) is a bonus
Ability to listen to instructions and carry out work as instructed
Encourage other team members to work effectively together.
Good time management and communication skills
The ability to adhere to company WH&S; policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
A desire to provide a high quality commercial Landscape Maintenance / gardening service
Tasks & responsibilities
Working on site on various landscaping jobs around Sydney learning your trade
1 day a week TAFE course to qualify as Cert III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture
Regularly liaising with your Manager/Supervisor.
Ensuring all works are completed in a secure manner.
Role is site/run based, working with the team to ensure targets are met.
Management of a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, from mowing, whipper snipping, hedging etc.
Competitive wage package (and bonuses) are negotiable
Training including
Wage increases as you pass TAFE years
Qualify at the end of 4 years - fast track to becoming a team leader!
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
