We are seeking an experienced
Team Leader – Accounts Payable
to lead our Accounts Payable function and support the ongoing success of our Finance team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Finance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-volume Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while providing support to your team.
You will also play an important role in maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support the Accounts Payable team to achieve outstanding results
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of high-volume supplier invoices
Manage supplier payments and ensure all payment deadlines are met
Review and approve expense claims and payment requests
Monitor invoice approval workflows and resolve outstanding approvals
Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
Respond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and general ledger allocations
Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
About You
You are a motivated, hands-on operator who enjoys developing people and improving processes while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function.
To be successful you will have:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume environment
Supervisory experience, or the demonstrated capability to lead a team
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and best practice
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (highly regarded)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting
A proactive, positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
