Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney's North Shore. About The Role
Commencing Term 1, ****, the Mentor Team Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the Year Group experience, creating an environment where every student feels supported, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.
As Mentor Team Leader, you'll play a key role in creating a year group where students feel supported, encouraged and challenged to be their best. Working closely with students, families and staff, you'll lead a team of mentors and help foster a positive culture where every student is known, valued and able to thrive.
How You'll Make An Impact
Exercise effective team leadership for the development and support of an efficient Year Mentor Team and in line with the concept of Team that underpins the organisational structure of the School
Lead and direct Mentors in the effective conduct of Mentor Group Team meetings
Chair regular Total Fitness meetings with relevant year stakeholders and ensure an accurate record of the minutes of each meeting is maintained
Organise Year Meetings which will provide opportunities for the development of boys' leadership and initiative
Organise other Year-related meetings as circumstances demand
Oversee the organisation of Year activities outside the formal Mentor Group meeting times
Contribute to the maintenance of a database of information on each boy in collaboration with key stakeholders such as; Psychologists, Teachers and the Student Administration Officer
