Job Description
My Australia Direct Best Staff Pty Ltd (trading as Better Staff) are seeking a full time recruitment consultant.
Job Summary: The Recruitment Consultant will deliver end-to-end recruitment services to clients by planning, developing, and implementing effective sourcing and placement strategies. This position supports the organisation's ongoing workforce needs by identifying, attracting, and placing high-quality candidates, while ensuring compliance with Australian employment and migration legislation. Key Responsibilities:
Consult with client organisations to analyse staffing requirements, job specifications, and workforce planning needs.
Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to source skilled candidates both locally and internationally.
Prepare and publish job advertisements in accordance with approved labour market testing (LMT) requirements.
Screen, interview, and shortlist applicants to determine suitability for specific roles.
Conduct reference checks and background verifications to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Advise clients on remuneration levels, employment conditions, and market trends.
Manage candidate communications and provide support through the selection and onboarding process.
Maintain accurate recruitment records in accordance with Fair
Work and Department of Home Affairs requirements.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with workplace relations legislation, privacy laws, and migration policy guidelines.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and candidates through consistent communication and service delivery.
Skills, qualifications and experience: Either a bachelor degree or higher qualification plus 1 years experience OR at least five years of relevant experience.
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes within an agency.
Sound understanding of Australian employment law, industrial relations frameworks, and visa-related recruitment compliance.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and achieve placement targets.
High-level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
