The
Service –
KU Monash
Located on the Monash Peninsula campus in Frankston, our centre provides a welcoming, purpose-driven environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years to belong, play, discover, and thrive. Operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm for 50 weeks of the year. At Monash we put emphasis on building strong, respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and families. Our key educator approach assigns one educator to a small group, establishing consistency and familiarity. This in turn supports positive engagement and learning.
The service has convenient parking close by, easy access to public transport links, and the team is passionate, supportive and diverse.
The Role
We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to work in the Toddlers room on a full time, basis (Monday-Friday 8 hours per day) on a rotational roster. You will accrue a monthly rostered day off; that's 12 extra days of leave per year!
This role will suit someone who values the importance of building strong relationships with both children and their families and is a great team player.
Candidates Require:
A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
A National Child Safety Training Certificate
A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law *****) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations *****)
