Calala Inn is seeking a
Front of House Attendant
to join our hospitality team on a
casual basis
. Based in Tamworth NSW ****, this role is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the high standards our establishment is known for. As a Front of House Attendant, you will be greeting guests, maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas, running meals & clearing tables, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service and hospitality.
What you'll be doing:
*This position offers 25 to 30 hours per week*
Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with the restaurant management's procedures
Clearing tables efficiently and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
Responding to guest requests and complaints with courtesy and professionalism, escalating issues where necessary
Assisting with table setup and preparation before service begins
Processing payments and operating the point-of-sale system accurately, when required.
Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
Supporting the broader hospitality team to ensure smooth operations during service
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in waiting or front of house hospitality roles, or demonstrated commitment to developing hospitality skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner




Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables or tasks simultaneously
Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to work varied hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to adhere to hygiene standards
