This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, ****
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The School
Poseidon Primary School (PS) is situated in the northern suburbs of Heathridge. The school was officially opened in February ****. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate, motivated and skilled Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.
You will ideally be committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community. The successful applicant should possess a robust capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.




We are seeking applicants who would be innovative and possess high quality teaching skills and knowledge. Our teachers should be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support our whole school processes and be collegial, effective collaborators.

hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
