We are now seeking two highly experienced, self‐driven Anaesthetic Registered Nurses or Anaesthetic Technicians to join our multidisciplinary Perioperative team at St John of God Murdoch. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner throughout the surgical journey in a fast‐paced environment.
As an Anaesthetic Registered Nurse, you will lead patient care and collaborate with the team. As an Anaesthetic Technician, you will assist the Anaesthetist and, under the direction of the Clinical & Registered Nurse, deliver high‐quality care for patients undergoing anaesthesia.
Our facility includes 16 operating theatres, an angio suite, endoscopy unit and Surgicentre, and offers exposure to advanced surgical technology such as robotics. You will work with senior surgeons and a dedicated Clinical Command Centre that coordinates patient flow.
The Position
Maintain and develop skills appropriate to your level of competence.
Deliver high‐standard patient care whilst using resources cost‐effectively.
Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.
Provide patient education and act as a resource when appropriate.
Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care throughout the continuum of care.
Prioritise workload using resources effectively.

Qualifications:
Registered Anaesthetic Nurse: registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a commitment to quality patient care.
Registered Anaesthetic Technician: Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to monitor patient care under supervision.
Minimum 3 years of anaesthetic experience in a hospital environment.

We can offer
Anaesthetic Registered Nurse salary: $82,945 to $106,630 per annum (pro‐rata for part‐time) plus 12 % superannuation.
Anaesthetic Registered Nurse casual rate: $***** to $***** per hour, inclusive of casual loading, plus 12 % superannuation.
Anaesthetic Technician salary: $81,827 to $99,892 per annum (pro‐rata for part‐time) plus 12 % superannuation.
Anaesthetic Technician casual rate: $***** to $***** per hour, inclusive of casual loading, plus 12 % superannuation.
Permanent, part‐time and casual positions available.
Rotational roster working 6, 8 and 10‐hour shifts.
Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum on benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses, and options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as novated leasing, work‐related expenses, self‐education and additional superannuation.
