The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and operational leadership across its significant budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the values of social work and ensuring the organization's operating platform is aligned with its purpose. This includes executive oversight of finance, risk and compliance, ICT, CRM and data, membership services, customer experience, facilities, and people and culture.
The COO will also be tasked with stewardship of a large budget, enterprise risk management, and driving continuous improvement in operations and technology-enabled member services. Applicants for the COO role at the company should be commercially astute, values-led senior executives with a proven track record in a similar leadership position, preferably within a mid-sized not-for-profit, membership, or purpose-driven organization.
The role requires a leader with broad operational experience, the ability to translate strategy into execution, and a deep understanding of not-for-profit governance, enterprise risk, and digital service delivery.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, and possess strong commercial and financial acumen. They should be an authentic and team-oriented leader, capable of building high-performing teams, and be driven by the goal of delivering sustainable outcomes that advance the organization's purpose and create lasting value for its members and stakeholders.
