We are seeking an
AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist
to join our team, with the primary role involving site inspections and the preparation of
Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) Reports
.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake tree inspections and assessments for development sites.




Prepare professional Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) Reports.
Assess tree health, structure, retention value and development impacts.
Calculate and assess NRZ and SRZ requirements in accordance with AS ****:****.
Review architectural, survey and development plans.
Provide recommendations for tree retention, removal, pruning and protection.
Prepare tree protection plans, arborist statements and supporting documentation.
Liaise with clients, architects, builders, consultants and Council officers.
Undertake Project Arborist inspections and supervision where required.
Applicants must hold an
AQF Level 5 Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent
, have strong tree identification and report-writing skills, and be able to work independently.
Previous consulting arboriculture and AIA report-writing experience is highly regarded.
