We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you're an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in a supportive, values‐driven environment.
Where you'll work
With a collaborative and close‐knit team, Trafalgar Kindergarten provides a warm, community‐focused program that reflects the values of our local families while regularly networking with local schools to support children's transition to the next stage of their learning. This role would suit an educator who enjoys building strong relationships and creating positive foundations for lifelong learning.
Diploma Lunch Cover Educator
Monday and Friday – *****pm to 2:00pm and Wednesday *****am to 2.00pm
7.5 lunch cover hours per week
Requirements
What You'll Do




Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children
Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play
Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security
Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold the Y's standards of excellence and inclusion
What You'll Bring
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward this qualification)
Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
A genuine love for children and a commitment to learning and qualified growth
